Development Support & Planning

All of our Planners are members of the Canadian Institute of Planners and are Registered Professional Planners in the Province of New Brunswick.

Our Planners offer the following services:

  1. Provide advice to clients in:

    • Preparing development/building permit applications for More Complex Projects;

    • Preparing variance, temporary use, conditional use, extending non-conforming use, re-zoning, and plan amendment applications; and

    • Interpreting planning regulations, including but not limited to zoning regulations and regulations under the Community Planning Act

  2. Coordinate Developer's Assistance Committee (DAC) meetings with applicants and various municipal and provincial department representatives that may be involved in the approval and/or commentary process of More Complex Projects

  3. Issue Confirmations of Zoning and Zoning Compliance Letters (see FAQ 2.5 What is the difference between a Confirmation of Zoning and a Zoning Compliance Letter?)
